My name is DJ BROWN:E and I am a 23 year old DJ from Bolton, Grt Manchester. I play oldskool/retro, oldskool hardcore, italian dance, bounce, pumping house & hard dance/trance. I have always been into music especially oldskool as i was born in the 90's and was brought up listening to it regularly on the radio and top of the pops wen i was a kid. I started as a bedroom dj at the age of 15 playing bounce and club classics then started playing italian house and oldskool buying records regularly with whatever money i had. I played my first club when i was 17 and have regularly been djing for peoples parties and for nights in pubs and clubs. I have worked for promotions such as 'SANCTUARY' , 'NORTHERN PROJECT FUTURE LEGENDS' plus more. I founded my own event called 'WE LOVE OLDSKOOL' back in 2011 at a local pub. We did a few successful events there until i went off the scene to have a break. We re-started the events January 2013 at Club Retro in Farnworth and since then the events have gone from strength to strength. The events have now started a tour of the North West. I am currently resident DJ every saturday night at club retro in farnworth. I have started producing tracks with Elivate under the name 'RETROSPECT'. We specialise in retro style and breaks. Our first track GET ILL has been signed to 'Funky Disko' and has gained recognition from some of the best DJ's in the oldskool scene. It has also been featured on Unity Radio FM... We have also done a hard dance remix for PIANOMAN feat CLAIRE CHALLONER - ITS MY PLEASURE. It is being featured on the forthcoming IDEAL hard dance abum. Few clubs worked at over the years: Cricketers (Wigan) Attic (Bolton) Ikon (Bolton) B7s/Club-Ice (Bolton) Soundhouse (Bolton) Maximes (Wigan) Bamboogy (Bolton) WH1 (Blackburn) Club Retro (Farnworth) RAC (Fanworth) Sanuk (Blackpool) Loco (Bolton) Bliss (Wigan) Coco Lounge (Bury) Ruby Rooms (Stalybridge) Bowlers (Manchester) brown.matty@yahoo.co.uk FOR BOOKINGS

i started djing at 16 after months of begging the parents for months to buy me some 1210s,which i still use today going strong.my passion in music has to be old school piano, retro and vocal funky house if you cant sing to it then its no good lol.in the early nineties i started going clubbing, and for me to this day was the best for music.when i first got my 1210s i had no intension of djing in clubs it was just a hobby for and for my own enjoyment.i was actually tricked by a fellow dj and good friend who was already djing in clubs, when he phoned me up one thurday night and said he was ill and needed me to help him out and play at a bar for him,to which i found out later it was actually a dj competition to which he entered me and to my surprise i won to which the prize was residency at bradfords biggest dance club which pulled 700 to 800 in every friday and saturday night,my first night djing in the club was christmas eve which was packed out and i was shitting it,it was a big difference mixing some tracks in the bedroom and then to bid audience but i absolutely loved it and was hooked, and so my djing career was born. within the first year things went from strength to strength playing in numerous clubs all over yorkshire and holding down residencys and playing alongside some of the biggest names in the country (alister whitehead,k klass, paul taylor just to name a few) i was more known as a dj for my old school sets and so i was made a resident for retro which took me to ibiza djing at eden and loved every minute. in the mid 2000s i began working with a fellow dj (adam g) at a place called bar me which was just a bar not a club, but in the first 6 months playing there the profits soared 700% and went from a free bar and having to pay in on the door,so we sat down and thought were on to a winner here and decided to brand our own night and event, and so worship was born. our brand of night went from strength to strength holding down rooms at space, gatecrasher, visage and ethios, garlands and many more,we even ended up with our own radio show on a friday night on dvm radio (dance vinyll masters). i think the reason our night worked so well was because we didnt brand it as one style of music it was straight across the board,if it was a classic then it got played. in 2008 we decided to pull the brand as we both wanted to persue over interests,i decided to take a break from djing as it got to a stage where i stopped enjoying it and felt more of a chore going to work instead of doing something i loved. so now im back, loving my music more then ever and back on the scene :-)

I started DJing in 1994, first playing Old Skool, then moving into the current music scene. Over the years I played many different styles, covering a broad range in music. My first gigs were a residency at a pub in Preston, Xstream, playing lots of different music from my collection. My first club gig was a one-off event held at Preston's University, Heavens Gate. I then played several times at The Mill, again in Preston. Musically moving into the Hard Dance scene in 2000 I managed to get a gig at Sundisential North, Leeds, in the Members Suite. From there I played a few gigs at NRG, Chorley and then at Fired-Up, Wigan for the same promoter. I also played at the Sinergy Testlab, Manchester and a couple of times for BPM Radio, Birmingham. My DJ career changed significantly when I secured gigs in London for Smile and Wildchild. I also came 2nd in a DJ competition at Toast, Manchester. From there I secured more gigs at Wildchild, Frantic, Liberation Vs Hardware, Rush and Smile, London. My final gig was in 2004 at Velocity, Wisbech. I have only recently took to the decks again, although now it is just for enjoyment, using the records in my collection.

British Dj/ Producer playing the latest/ best of Uplifting/NRG Trance. Anthony Turner (Born 1977 Bury, Greater Manchester, England) is an up and coming new Trance Producer and Dj. My passion for Trance music Started in the early 90's as Trance music was being born, listening to tracks from such artists like Sasha, John Digweed, Paul Van Dyke, Gary D. (the list can go on), following at venues such as Fantazia, Helterskelter, Dreamscape (many rave type venues) through to Goodgreef and Godskitchen, up to 2003 where i started to DJ Trance music. The passion didn't stop there, i wanted more from DJing, i wanted to Dj my own material, this led me to Education. September 2004 was the start of Music Education, starting at Oldham College studying Music Technology to move me on to higher Education. September 2006 was the time to carry on developing my skills in Music Technology. Leeds Metropolitan University was the new place of study, studying Creative Music and Sound Technology for Bachelor Honours Degree in Science. And today!

Kitlist – 2 x Technics 1210’s, Pioneer DJM 600, 1 x Pioneer CDJ100, 1 x Denon DNS3000 I’ve been mixing now for 14 years and started buying vinyl a short while before getting my decks in 1997. Since then my collection has grown rapidly. My first gig came in 1998 after sending a demo mix to a Northern Ireland dance magazine. That one night got me hooked and I went on to play several other events as well as organizing a few of my own. In recent years I’ve been playing mostly Internet radio sites such as Hardcore United, Hcore FM and Cheeky Tunes as well as the odd gig here and there. I try to be as diverse as possible in my sets and play a wide variety of styles.

Hi, Im Rob.. I've been into the House and Rave scene since 1991 - 1992 after catching a few tracks that made it into the charts namingly Mobys Go, Congress 40 Miles and SL2s Djs Take Control. Collecting Mix Tapes and Flyers followed and come 1994 I started going out Raving to the legendary Club Kinetic in Longton, Stoke On Trent. That pretty much started my love affair with Vinyl and Dance music and over 20 years on, I still have a soft spot for it all. I simply use House-Mixes to put a few mixes online for me to listen to and hopefully for others to enjoy too.. Please take 5 mins to check out my website at www.robmathews.tk
